cabinetry
Greenlake Cabinets offers its own manufactured semi-custom and custom cabinetry. If you have budget concerns, don’t let semi-custom and custom scare you away! We can work from a range of customized options to assist with budget concerns. We do both large and small projects. We can make cabinets and install them for kitchens, bathrooms, home entertainment centers, built-in work stations, libraries as well as cabinetry for commercial projects. Based upon our client’s requests for cabinetry, 80% of our cabinet manufacturing is Frameless, but we also do Face Framed and Inset door style cabinetry construction.
Our Cabinetry Construction
Our box constructions are made with 5/8 or ¾ inch thick materials, unless the cabinetry is face framed. All door and drawer fronts are made from ¾” solid wood, unless specified [such as a 1” thick door or ¼” plywood panel, inside of a ¾” solid wood door]. If a flat [slab] surface door and/or drawer front is chosen, the wood selection would then be either solid wood or ¾” plywood; the ¾” plywood door/drawer front is then edged, in the selected wood. Unless otherwise specified, it is our standard to use finished Maple or Birch plywood for drawers and/or roll-out shelves. Drawer guides, unless otherwise specified, are Tandem [Blum] under mount, full extension hardware.
As a semi-custom cabinet maker, we can customize any and/or all of the cabinetry, including making cabinetry with the Inset doors. Our definition of “custom” means we have the ability to customize any cabinet or any cabinetry/storage features, parts, etc., where it is necessary and/or to fit the design specifications. Thus, we customize to fit within the parameters of the newer and/or larger appliances {such as, Sub Zero or French Door style refrigerators,] Home Entertainment equipment, [such as LCD, HDTV, stereo, etc.]. In addition, we can manufacture almost any door style; we can also obtain most exotic woods and customize to almost all finishes. All of our cabinetry is specifically made for and to each customer’s specifications. Our ‘customizing” does NOT necessarily mean higher manufacturing costs: That is, we manufacture to the standard dimensions and sizes, then customize where it is necessary.
